Precast pavers are installed in a 4" thick concrete base slab, however an asphalted concrete base slab is also acceptable. Pavers have tapered edges to allow of caulking during installation. Careful attention must be given to local soils and drainage conditions, other alternative installation methods should be considered. During a ‘wet set’ installation care should be taken to ensure that there are no voids under the panel Do not use mallet or hammer to install panel or to get edges flush with the surrounding area, doing this voids all warranty If ‘pedestal’ installation is required please contact M R Castings for information
